ReplyDeleteI love to quilt, it is much closer to the finish, so I am much motivated. Quilting turns suddenly the project in to a nice work, change the texture and the shapes...
i love every step of the way!
ReplyDeleteI prefer quilting, and would love even more if I could afford a long arm :)
ReplyDeleteI like both, but I think I prefer piecing, because it's easier to fit through my machine.

Hmm...I think I like piecing better!
ReplyDeleteCute pattern! I love piecing, but am trying to embrace quilting as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pattern! I improv piece, so that's my favorite part... quilting always makes me a little nervous.
ReplyDeleteI like both but I prefer piecing!
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing! I love the patterns!
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing because my machine can't handle quilting and I feel I ruin the potential of the quilt with my lack of quilting savvy. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI like them both. What I do not like is creating the quilt sandwich and the binding.
ReplyDeleteI prefer quilting

ReplyDeletestill fairly new, i really enjoy piecing, but am practicing FMQ
ReplyDeleteI love piecing, and only like quilting. Piecing is where my creativity can shine, I feel
ReplyDeletePiecing, I am really horrible at getting them quilted the reason I have so many UFO quilts.
ReplyDeleteI love both really, but i hate ironing, cutting, basting
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say piecing. Love your pattern

I love to piece. I am just learning FMQ and I love it
ReplyDeletePiecing as I'm only learning to FMQ
ReplyDeleteI love the piecing part of quilting. I'm not good at the quilting part, the most I can do is Straight line or Echo quilting. I would love to learn how to FMQ.
ReplyDeleteI like the piecing part, but always quilt my own quilts as well.
ReplyDeletePiecing.
ReplyDeletePiecing, definitely. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePiecing Thank you for the giveaway
ReplyDeletepiecing is currently my favorite but i think that's just because i haven't done enough quilting to feel comfortable yet. i bought a new machine for my birthday and free motion is on my list to master!
ReplyDeletePiecing is my favorite part of sewing, especially when all the points come together perfectly. Thanks for the give away!
ReplyDeleteI've only made one quilt lo, but i liked the quilting part a lot :)
ReplyDeleteI think I like both the same. I'm always a bit nervous about the whole quilting aspect as I'm not really good yet, at least with handling bigger pieces, but I love the feeling when you've finished a smaller project and it turned out great.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the chance to win! :)
Piecing. I do enjoy quilting, but not the pinning. One day I dream of owning a long arm though…

ReplyDeleteI prefer quilting but love piecing also.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this lovely giveaway! :) I prefer piecing but just because I´m not great in quilting. I usually need to ask others to quilt my stuff for me ;) xoxo
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing, but I think that's because that's how I got started (talk about taking the harder road).
ReplyDeleteamy.forkner at gmail dot com
Piecing, definitely. I'm always scared that when I quilt I'll muck it all up!
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing, but also enjoy quilting. Great giveaway. Thanks so much for sharing
ReplyDeleteI used to prefer piecing, but now I'm enjoying the quilting process too, and can't wait to learn more. I saw your picture, and thought it was counted cross stitch, it would make a great pattern for a block in a sampler.
ReplyDeleteProbably piecing. I love the design! Its so simple and clean!
ReplyDeleteI really love all aspects of piecing & quilting (apart from basting!) but I think I prefer quilting as it means I'm closer to finishing a project. Thanks for the lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI like piecing better. Because I'm better at it. I'd like to be better at quilting.
ReplyDeleteI go back and forth but right now it's piecing.
ReplyDeleteI like the whole process but the quilting part is exciting as you start to see the finished product appear.
ReplyDeleteCath @ Bits 'n Bobs
I prefer piecing, but i like everything except burning my fingers whilst ironing binding!
ReplyDeletePiecing, definitely. But I also like quilting because that means it is getting done!
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing, but I'm trying to improve the quilting part.
ReplyDeleteQuilting! Because then it's so close to being finished!!
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing. I like seeing how things come together and trying to figure out how to make it all work.
ReplyDeleteI definitely prefer piecing over quilting LOL! I just love your pattern!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy piecing. That's me - nothing fancy or extraordinary. You have done an amazing job on your country home pillow cover. Very unique and quite striking. Thank you for being a part of Sew Mama Sew giveaway and giving all of us a chance to win these.

oh man, i enjoy both. i'll pick quilting though because it's so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI love both. I am much better at piecing than at machine quilting, however.!
ReplyDeleteGreat pattern!
ReplyDeleteI love piecing!
Piecing is my favorite part!
ReplyDeletePiecing 100%
ReplyDeletePiecing. I do like that pattern, nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI love to piece, only quilt to finish. My creativity ends with the flimsy!
ReplyDeleteI'll say quilting. But I've never quilted a large quilt so maybe I would change my mind if I had a big project to do :)
ReplyDeleteSo far I prefer quilting, but you never know!
ReplyDeleteFollowing you on Bloglovin'. Would love to win this pattern.
ReplyDeletePiecing, but I just got a new mid-arm and am going to try free motion quilting......
ReplyDeleteI would have to go with piecing. I think I'll like quilting but I have a hard time fitting in the time for it... lapaceksorchard at gmail dot com
ReplyDeletePiecing the quilt top and then applying the binding are my favorite parts. Your pillow is wonderful.
ReplyDeletePiecing . Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeletePiecing!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy piecing best.
ReplyDeletePiecing.
ReplyDeletei prefer piecing!
ReplyDeletePiecing, hands down. wonderlandbyalyce@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing. I am still at the stage where I feel my quilting ruins everything LOL!
ReplyDeleteI like piecing. Finding new patterns to try is so fun! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like quilting, because not only do you get to enjoy that part of your craft, but you get to look at all the beautiful piecing, the color combinations, and the design while you're doing it.
ReplyDeletei really enjoy the piecing, seeing the quilt slowly arrive.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy piecing because I am good at it (long time sewer). Next I need to conquer the quilting part.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance! I love piecing more - but wanting the finished product pushes me through the quilting!
ReplyDeleteI like to do piecing.

ReplyDeleteI like both, but for different reasons, piecing is productive and relaxing, quilting is challenging to me, the mix makes it fabulous. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI like the piecing best, so the tops to be quilted are starting to pile up. I get nervous that the quilting won't live up to what I already have going. I just need to bite the bullet.
ReplyDeleteI still prefer the piecing, but I know i will get over that one day and love both parts of the process!
ReplyDeleteI love piecing and hand quilting. Thanks for participating in the Giveaway Day.
ReplyDeleteBy far piecing is preferred over quilting. FMQing scares me!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely quilting. Piecing is just a means to an end.
ReplyDeleteI love piecing - quilting and basting are my least favourite parts because I am no good at either!!!
ReplyDeleteI have only quilted on quilt so far, being a newbie. I do have a couple of tops and a "few" WIPs. :)
ReplyDeletecraftyccain@gmail.com
• • • I enjoy both. Hate the binding. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI prefer quilting
ReplyDeletedetroitgirl77 AT gmail DOT com
i really do like both equally! It's the cutting that can be tiresome :) ksmith8@emich.edu
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your pattern! It's super cool and would look great in my living room. I love piecing more I think, only b/c I'm more experienced. I do enjoy free motion quilting when I get to it, but I HATE basting, so I have tops laying around b.c I don't want to prep them to be quilted!
ReplyDeleteI love both! Just started to love FMQ again so that is new. Love the pattern too!
ReplyDeleteI love piecing more at the moment. I will probably enjoy the quilting process when I get more experience. Thanks! Cute pattern - I love the colors you used.
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing because I can do it in bursts. However, once I get going with quilting, I do enjoy that. I need a second machine so I can switch between quilting and piecing. Right now, it involves switching the feet on my machine and possibly the thread. It drives me insane and makes me hate switching tracks.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the stop and start of piecing, but love the effect the quilting adds! I basically love most steps other than layering and pinning/basting!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the piecing. Quilting I dawdle until I cannot delay anymore lol
ReplyDeleteI enjoy both about the same!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried piecing so I'll have to say quilting! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing.
ReplyDeleteI definitely prefer the piecing- still learning the quilting aspect..Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI like quilting because it doesn't have to be as perfect!
